Roly-Poly decides to bring Luna to his creator, Aenea, and takes her to a junkyard where they find Aenea, but she runs away when she sees them and Roly-Poly goes after her, leaving Luna behind.
Luna and Mono find Aenea apologizing to Roly-Poly for getting scared and running away and after they make up, Luna witness Aenea's Iota Forge ability, which can create other machines, for a game of hide-and-seek. Mono and Luna meet with Aenea and Mono tasks Roly-Poly with introducing Luna and Aenea to each other before leaving, much to Roly-Poly's frustration. Roly-Poly manages to get Luna and Aenea to get over their shyness by having them play a game and they quickly become friends. The two play several more games together, but their noise attracts a robot guard who attacks them.
Unable to understand why Aenea would choose to stay away from her beloved sisters, Luna storms off in frustration and Roly-Poly goes after her. Roly-Poly tries to explain Aenea has her reasons from staying away from her sisters, but they are interrupted by robot guards who attack. After destroying the robot, Luna asks Roly-Poly where Aenea's sisters are and makes him take her to the nearest resistance hideout. They find Mono tending to flowers and Luna asks Mono why Aenea stays away from her. Mono explains the situation is complicated and asks Roly-Poly to take Luna to Tetra for a better explanation.
Despite using Mono's directions to avoid detection, a robot guard finds Luna and Roly-Poly, but Tetra arrives to help Luna fight it. Tetra takes everyone to a hideout so they can talk in safety where Luna finds Isabelle waiting and Tetra begins explaining Aenea distancing from her sisters. Finally having her answers, Luna decides to return to Aenea after Roly-Poly promises to Isabelle that he will protect Luna.
Roly-Poly helps lighten the mood between Aenea and Luna and the former asks the latter about her parents. Luna recalls happy memories with her parents, including decorating their house into a sparkling ballroom. Upon learning that Aenea has never been to a party, Luna decides to decorate Aenea's home with sparkling lights like she did with her parents. Remembering the sparkling rocks she found upon arrival in Aiolon, Luna decides to use them for decorations and leaves with Roly-Poly following her to protect her.
Roly-Poly explains to Luna that the rock she is looking for is manacite, chunks of crystalized magic used for fuel. However, Belphomet controls all mining operations so hunting for some is risky, but Luna decides to keep looking despite the danger, hoping to show Aenea the same kindness Marlone and Nicola showed her in Isunia. Roly-Poly takes Luna to a forge where manacite is processed she and finds some lying on the ground and attacks the robot guard protecting it. After the robot is destroyed, more arrive to stop Luna, but Roly-Poly protects her while she retrieves some manacite. Once the two flee to a safe point, Roly-Poly thanks Luna for helping him cheer up Aenea.
When the two return to Aenea's how, they discover she is not there and decide to put up the decorations as a surprise. Suddenly, an announcement of a women calling her son plays throughout the city, but the two ignore it and focus on decorating. When Aenea returns, she discovers the beautiful decorations Luna and Roly-Poly put up. In gratitude for their kindness, Aenea activates her Iota Forge to create dancing robots to create a ballroom dance and she and Luna join the dance.

Recognizing Alecto's staff is the source of her power, Luna and Anea confront Alecto. The two manage to nearly break the staff, but Alecto summons more enforcers and empowers them to self-destruct. When the first explosion fails to kill the two, Alecto summons more enforcers to finish them, but Roly-Poly arrives and takes the hit to protect them. Roly-Poly is destroyed after another attack and Luna and Anea, pushed to the limit by Roly-Poly's sacrifice, attack Alecto in a grievous fury. With their newfound strength, the two destroy Alecto. The statue is revealed to be Roly Poly reborn in a new body and with the statue activated, Eris is able to shut down the Furies and the robot soldiers.
Bayleon, Valdain, Tetra, Mono, Aenea, and Roly Poly stay behind to hold off the mechanical vines while the otherworlders go after Belphomet.
After the battle, Luna and Aenea play with Roly-Poly while Eris and Tetra watch. Tetra wonders how Roly-Poly was revived and Eris guess it has to do with Luna's immense necromatic ability, which she has little control over. Tetra is overjoyed at the idea, because it means that awakened robots like her are truly alive and have souls.
